  • How to Use Your Hearing Aid Benefit

       ● Call TruHearing at 1-855-542-1710 (TTY: 1-800-975-2674), Monday Friday from 8 am 8 pm.
       ● A TruHearing hearing consultant will verify your coverage and help you set up a hearing exam with an audiologist or hearing instrument specialist in your area.
       ● If hearing loss is discovered, your provider will help you choose the right hearing aids and order them through TruHearing.
       ● When the hearing aids arrive at the providers office, youll return for fitting and programming.

    Three follow-up visits must be used within one year after the date of initial purchase. Forty-five-day trial period and hearing aid returns, repairs, and replacements subject to provider and manufacturer fees. For questions regarding fees, contact TruHearing customer service.

    *This benefit is only available for SmartFund MSA® members who purchase the Optional Rider coverage.

Out-of-network/non-contracted providers are under no obligation to treat MVP Health Plan members, except in emergency situations. For a decision about whether we will cover an out-of-network service, we encourage you or your provider to ask us for a pre-service organization determination before you receive the service. Please call our customer service number or see your Evidence of Coverage for more information, including the cost-sharing that applies to out-of-network services. Medicare beneficiaries may also enroll in Preferred Gold HMO-POS, GoldValue HMO-POS, GoldSecure HMO-POS, Gold PPO, BasiCare PPO, and/or WellSelect PPO through the CMS Medicare Online Enrollment Center located at http://www.medicare.gov.
